Punk Me Tender (1982) keeps his identity well-hidden even though his artworks are highly recognizable. Due to his great love for Elvis Presley, he created his moniker. The artist left his mark throughout LA and fashion through his perspective of seeing the street as his canvas creating impressive murals. As an advocate for sophistication for the art of sensuality he has a mission to explore freedom through photography and mixed media. His inspirations include fashion icons Alexander McQueen and John Paul Gautier as well as designers Phillipe starts and artists Jeff Koons and Salvador Dali. Love, beauty, sensuality and desire are major themes explored in the works along with the consistent theme of unity.  “There’s an aspect of beauty in everything I do, as seeing and appreciating beauty brings people together,” he says. He works based on instinct, never following specific rules. But there is one constant: like the butterfly has become his signature, the artist strives to create a transformative experience of anyone who comes into contact with his work. The artists uses the spin art techniques as a way transform the works.
